    Love this, so very true…it’s funny how you don’t forget those days. Now, I could fire a rocket at Andy and he wouldn’t move unless he smelled pizza in his sleep.

    Great piece of writing and so true, made me laugh to remember those days. I remember lying on the floor next to a crib waiting for the child to be asleep before I crawled out of the room only to look back and see that little nose and eyes peeking over the crib bumper at me… ah the sleepless nights of motherhood! but so wonderful too, now that I’m a grand mother and that child whose nose and eyes peeked out at me is a mother with three little ones of her own and has taken up lying on the floor by the crib! the cycle continues and it is a good one!

    Yes!!! Exactly! And the same baby who could wake at anything will become a teen who couldn’t wake up for anything in the whole world!! Lol!
