A Mom’s Thoughts from the Sideline

He is adorable. I hope he has a good game. I wish he’d stop playing with his shorts string. Did that kid https://www.acheterviagrafr24.com/viagra-ordonnance/ on the other team hit puberty already? Is that a mustache? The sun is really hot. Does he need more sunscreen? Is this sunscreen safe? He looks tired. I knew he stayed up too late last night. Oh! Nice play. Maybe this is his sport. I hope I don’t sound like that screamer on the sideline. Her poor kid. Go! Good idea! The ref is an actual senior citizen. And likely the other team’s grandfather with these calls. Is it too soon to check my phone? Maybe if I pretend to take a picture. You couldn’t pay me enough to ref. Nice move! Where do you get those collapsible sideline benches? Look at all our stuff. It looks like we’re spending the night here. That coach is too much. Good hustle! I love that he gets right back up when he falls. I have to check him for ticks. I’m so glad to be outside. Does my moisturizer have enough SPF? I really need to think about my skin. YES! Oh! So close. Maybe I’ll coach someday. Go to the goal! What is with the bugs already? I hope the bees are ok. We’re out of

raw honey at home. Good hustle! Those boys are at least a head taller than ours. I wonder if he’ll be tall. I’m tall. When do women start shrinking? Maybe more calcium. I have a doctor’s appointment next week. I’ll check. I hope he’s hydrated enough. The sun is brutal. We all need to drink more water. I need to look up fun flavored water on Pinterest. And snack ideas. I think we bring the snacks next week. Man, it feels like summer. Ugh–shorts weather. Look at that hair on my ankle! I must have missed it since last summer. I’m like Rapunzel with that thing. She’s a decent princess at least. Aw. He’s really working hard out there. I have to tell him that. And hug him. I have to hug him more and longer. Before it’s too late. Good game!

Haha! Stream of consciousness in the tradition of James Joyce himself! And so true…

That is not the first time someone has told me my writing mirrors James Joyce’s writing. Ok. Yes. It is.

      🙂

Great piece of writing, mostly because it is so very true, I can see myself and most other moms saying all those things! Nicely done 🙂 Michelle

Wow! That brings back SO many memories! A Mom’s thoughts just go in SO many directions – no wonder sometimes we wake up early & can’t get back to sleep! Those many thoughts never end with us Moms. We have multi-task brains, unlike men ( >:)
